[Class 100 (ii)] [See also Group VII] A machine for shaping leather comprises a driven convex roller a and a co-operating concave roller h which is not driven. The rollers are pressed toward each other by springs n engaging the bearings of the upper roller, the spring pressure being adjusted by levers o engaging a flange on a member r coaxial with a handwheel z engaging a threaded boss in the frame. A quick application or release of pressure may be made by a hand lever v pivoted to the member r and having a cam surface at its lower end, which surface engages the boss of the handwheel. The roller a has a knurled surface.
