349,509. Lighting burners. WELLS,. J., Wellington House, Wellington Road, BURTON, M. G., 88, Wellington Road, and DAVIES, A. E., 14, Wilkins Road, all in Bilston, Staffordshire. Feb. 26, 1930, No. 6329. [Class 75 (iii).] Lighting burners by catalytic, electric, and frictional devices ; pilot-jets.-A gas burner c is provided with an atmosphere pilot tube h to which gas isadmitted on opening the main cock f and the gaseous mixture is ignited within the tube by an ignition device controlled by the cock f, the flame travelling along the tube to the nozzles i for igniting the burner. The tube h is provided with an air regulator y and a gauze k. In the form shown the mixture is ignited through an opening l in the tube by a frictional igniter a, such as described in Specification 322,310, [Class 75 (iii), Lamps &c., Details &c.]. An electric sparking device or filament or a catalytic device may be used.
