348,466. Centrifugal fans. RATEAU, L. A. J., NOBLEMAIRE, M. A. G. MARGOT-, and RATEAU, A. J. A., 10 bis, Avenue EliseÚ Reclus, Paris. July 19, 1930, No. 21897. Convention date, Nov. 15, 1929. Addition to 347,043. [Class 110 (i).] The blades of an impeller according to the parent Specification are strengthened b y ribs. When the arms of the starshaped supporting disc d do not extend to the extremities of the blades a, the ribs k are integral with the blades, Fig. 2, or take the form of angle-irons l, Fig. 4, and are used for securing the blades to the disc. For low speeds the disc arms are extended to the ends of the blades to give the required strengthening. The blades and disc are then formed in one piece or the arms are flanged to receive the blades.
