347,975. Ironing-machines. TULLIS, D. K., Kilbowie Iron Works, Clydebank. July 18, 1930, No. 21754. [Class 138 (ii).] In an ironing-machine comprising heated concave beds 2 and coacting rollers I an endless apron 3 is provided of which the lower flight passes between the rollers and beds and the upper flight is returned over tensioning and jockey rollers 5, 4. The ironing rollers s are clothed, but are not provided with duck covers, the apron performing the function of the covers whilst serving to convey the goods from roller to roller. The bearings 8 of the roller 4 being movable relatively to one another, may be adjusted so that the roller 4 corrects any tendency of the apron to travel out of line.
