Feb. 17. 1930, No. 5268. Convention date, Feb. 15, 1929. [Class 39 (i).] In a photo-electric cell having a cathode 7 in the form of a film on the envelope, the anode 8 is supported by two or more short wires or vitreous rods 9 sealed into the envelope and spaced apart. The anode lead may act as a support, and one of the other supports may be at a point diametrically opposite to the lead. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also similar means for supporting electrodes other than the cathode. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 316,937, [Class 39 (i), Electric lamps, Arc &c.].
