[Class 102 (i).] In a duplex pump in which the two pistons work out of phase, the successive pressure produced in the delivery pipe by each plunger at the beginning of its stroke is converted into energy of flow by means of an injector a, b, c, of which the inner nozzle a is connected to one pump cylinder, while the outer one is connected to the other.
