Abstract

Metering piston pump, esp. fuel piston pump for fuel firing units, pump stroke chamber is sealed with respect to the outlet line by a pressure valve where the suction chamber of the double acting pump, which represents the suction and feed stage is connected with the stroke chamber which represents the metering stage, via a throttle line and is sealed with respect to the inlet line by a suction valve. Specifically, the suction chamber of the pump is connected with the stroke chamber via an intermediate chamber between piston and cylinder wall.
