339,327. Hamilton, R. L., and National Steel Foundry (1914), Ltd. June 8, 1929. Detachable - rim attachments to wheels. - Twin detachable rims are mounted on the off-set web portions f<1>, f<2> of a cast disc wheel, the outer rim being carried by a continuous removable felloe d' so as to permit manipulation of the inner rim without detaching the outer rim from its carrier ring. The inner rim is clamped on a coned flange d of the web f <1> by lugs c and bolts g. The outer rim, with the ring d', is secured to the stepped arms h of the web f<2> by similar clamps c and bolts k. To permit the removal of the outer rim without the ring d<1>, the latter is separately attached to the arms h by a pair of bolts j.
