Working-fluid supply.-In a gas turbine having an explosion chamber as described in Specification 312,167 the wall 16 at the charging end of the chamber 3 is formed conical so that a contracting- expanding nozzle 14, 21, 17 is formed, the contraction 21 being in the region where the fuel is injected into the air stream. The aid and fuel valves are actuated automatically. The arrangement gives better atomization and scavenging. Specifica,tions 900/11 and 295,635 also are referred to.
