Hand driving-mechanism. - A jack-operating handle comprises an elongated member Q carrying at one end a rotatable socket Q<2> adapted to engage the jack and at the other end a cranked handle Q<5> which drives the socket through a chain (not shown) carried on sprockets Q<1>, Q'. In a modification the drive from the handle Q<5> is through a shaft and bevel gears.
