Abstract

333,784. Brown, C. Sept.. 30, 1929. Caravans; folding vehicles.-Vehicle bodies are formed in two sections so mounted on the chassis that they may be moved to and from one another and are provided with vertically adjustable roof elements hinged to the outer side walls of the sections at the upper ends of such walls. As shown roof sections 21 are hinged to the parts of the split body of the vehicle and may be propped open by stays 25. A tarpaulin &c. may be connected to the free ends of the roof sections. to complete the roof when the body parts are expanded. The roof sections may be of unequal width. When lowered and the body parts closed the roof sections are adapted to be bolted together.
