Abstract
327,214. Scarff, M. Sept. 16, 1929. Adjusting axles longitudinally of vehicle. - In a trailer for motor vehicles of the kind in which the rear wheels d are so mounted that they can be moved towards the front to enable the loading platform to be tipped up until its rear end rests upon the ground, each rear wheel is carried by a spring f pivoted at both ends to a sub-frame g movable along the trailer frame. The sub-frame g is slidable, along the lower flange of an H-section side frame a, and supports the side frame through rollers g<2> held up in position by small rolls g<3>.
