452,973. Road-vehicle undercarriages. DOORNE, H. J. VAN, Huize Vita Nuova, Deurne, Holland. May 11, 1936, No. 13249. Addition to 435,243, [Group XXXI]. [Class 108 (ii)] An underframe as described in the parent Specification is modified for application to a trailer and comprises a central longitudinal box-frame member 1 of height greater than its width, an enlarged front structure 2 adapted to be welded to the central beam 1 at the same or other height according to the floor required for the particular loading conditions, a bottom bearing surface 3 on the structure 2 adapted to bear on the bearing surface 4 of the front wheel structure 5, transverse and radial tapering members 12, 14, 15 and a marginal light rail 13. The front wheel structure comprises a frame having struts 6 supporting the bearing surface 4, springs 8 for the wheels and a draw bar 9.
