Abstract

319,933. Cox, J. H. R. Sept. 27, 1928. Vehicles convertible into caravans, booths, or mobile totalisators have the main body 1 mounted in the usual way on road wheels 2, and have a telescopic portion 4 which may be withdrawn endwise from the main body to form an extension thereto. When in the extended position it is supported on hinged or other adjustable struts 8 provided with rollers 9. Both the main portion of the body and the telescopic portion are provided with raisable roofs 11, and indicating-devices 12 and 13 associated with the roofs are also provided. In the case of the mobile totalisator ticket-issuing openings 5 are provided in the sides of the vehicle.
