Abstract

328,750. Walsh, J. G. March 26, 1929. Clips, lever.-A device for adjustably securing straps, shown in Fig. 1 as applied to a shoe strap 18, comprises an open ended frame 10 having tags 12 by which it is secured to the shoe &c., and carrying a pivoted member 15 which bears against the strap and grips it between its free end and the base of the frame under the action of a spring 16 coiled round the spindle 13 of member 15. One end of the spindle passes out through the side of the frame and is bent down to serve as an operating handle. 14 by which the strap may be released. A stop bar 17 limits movement of member 15 in one direction.
