327,539. Paul, A. J. R., and Paul & Co., Ltd., M. March 5, 1929. Impeller blades.-The rotor blades of a centrifugal fan are shaped as shown in Fig. 4, and overlap circumferentially. The flange 7 is riveted to the backplate and the flange 10 to a shrouding ring 3. The portion of the blade contained between the leading edge AD and the trailing edge BC is concave to the rotor axis and is formed by a generating line parallel to the axis. The inlet side of the blade has superimposed on its general concave shape a convex curvature and diminishes in radial dimensions from the leading edge ED to the trailing edge FC.
