Clutches, friction.-Driven rings for multipledisc friction clutches comprise facings B of metallic or other woven asbestos or plastic asbestos-fibre composition applied to either side of stamped steel or other metal cores A, which are provided with internal spline-engaging notches a and peripheral dovetailed, radial-sided, or other notches a<2> or slots a<3>, Fig. 5, in which the facings unite under heat and pressure. The facings B extend and are also united beyond the periphery of the core A.
