310,946. Milliken Bros. & Blaw-Knox, Ltd., (Assignees of Venable, W. M.). May 4, 1928, [Convention date]. Frame pulleys. - A sheave construction for excavating-buckets comprises casing members 5, 5a and a pin 6 supporting pulleys 10, 11 mounted on ball bearings 16 in cavities 14. The cavities are sealed by means of rings 23, and felt pads 22, 26 inserted in annular grooves 21, 25, and lubricant is forced into the bearings through passages 29, 30, 27, 28. A spacer ring 23 adjusts the distance between the pulleys. The members 23, 19 and 28 are clamped between the member 5a and a shoulder on the pin 6 by a bolt 31 and a plate 33 fitting between projections 34 on the casing to prevent rotation.
