Abstract

383,074. Lubricating traveller rings. HOWARD & BULLOUGH, Ltd. and WALSH, W. A., Globe Works, Accrington. Nov. 24, 1931, No. 32496. [Class 12 (ii).] Lubricant passes from a reservoir 3 mounted on or formed in the ring rail 1 of a ring spinning or like frame through a hollow conical-ended member 4 threaded through the reservoir into a cavity 6 formed either around the traveller ring 2, as in Fig. 2, or within the ring, as in Fig. 3, whence it reaches the interior of the ring through holes 10. Wicking may be arranged in the cavity 6 and holes 10.
