[Class 120 (ii)] Doubling and like rings provided with a hole from the outside to the inside are lubricated by means of a grease gun through a nipple 6 provided on the ring mounting and communicat. ing with a recess 10 formed between a flange 8 and shoulder 9 on the ring and holes 11, Fig. 1, or directly with holes 11 as shown in Fig. 3. Reversible rings are formed with holes respectively lineable with the nipple in each position of the ring. In removable split mountings which are comparatively shallow the nipples are inclined to facilitate charging. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 444,353.
