Abstract

500,594. Loose boss rollers for spinning- machines ; lubricating. SPINDEL-UND SPINNFLUGELFABRIK AKT.-GES. Sept. 4, 1937, Nos. 24178 and 29571. Convention dates, Sept. 5, 1936 and May 10, 1937. [Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXIV] Continuous lubrication of loose boss rollers for spinning-machines is ensured by oil-charged rings 3 of absorptive material arranged in dove-tail grooves in the boss and embraced by elastic spring-rings 9 which may be of various shapes to provide suitable compression areas. Distribution of oil is facilitated bv one or more grooves or flats' 8 on the axle. Collars 5 serve to prevent access of fly, and slots 8 and grooves 6 facilitate extraction of fly. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also an arrangement wherein the grooves arc inclined to the axis of the boss. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
