Abstract
308,413. McCallum, J. Feb. 3, 1928. Armouring cables.-An electric cable comprises insulated conductors 2 which are enclosed in a lead sheath 1, the sheath 1 being covered or coated with a rubber sheath 4. The rubber may be extruded on the lead sheath which may then be wound with tape to prevent decentralization, the rubber being then vulcanized. In the embodiment shown, the rubber-sheathed cable is covered by wire armour 5 and braiding 6. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 6322/99, 231,289 and 246,815.
