Convention date, Sept. 26, 1929- [Class 36.] In a flexible multicore cable comprising stranded conductors 4, each insulated with a thin wrapping of cotton threads 5 and a vulcanized rubber covering 6, the cores are cabled together with fillers 7 of stranded jute or the like, about which is applied a cotton, jute, or other fibrous covering and a tough rubber sheath 9. In order to prevent adhesion between the sheath 9 and the interior parts of the cable, the fibrous covering is formed by a thread 8 which is helically applied with adjacent helices in mutual contact.
