Abstract
307,574. Dexter, G. Jan. 7, 1928. Valves.-A rotary valve 20 having recesses 24 controlling inlet and exhaust is formed in two longitudinal halves which are assembled around a rectangular part of the shaft 17, and is pressed against the cylinder port 13 by springs 27 bearing upon members 21, which are of cam formation so as to be pressed by the springs when pressure occurs in the cylinder. The members 21 are also formed in halves, and have projections 22 entering corresponding recesses in the ends of the valve.
