307,069. Malleville, J. P. M. March 3, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Clips, band. - A band slip which is adjustable without provision of perforations in the band comprises a plate T having one or more slots 1, 02 and provided with an upstanding portion E threaded to receive a tightening screw V. One end of the band B is passed through slot 02 and pivoted at C to the end of the screw. In use, the band is placed round a hosepipe and its free end b<1>is passed through the slot 01 (or 02) and bent over. The clip is then tightened by the screw, the portion b<2> of the band overlapping the bent-over end b<1> and securing it against displacement. Alternative methods of pivotally securing the screw end to the band are described.
