Abstract

266,642. Curtis, J. N. July 26, 1926. Addition to 257,898. Clips, band, for hose pipes and the like of the kind described in the parent Specification are provided with a sheetmetal liner between the wires of the clip and the pipe to permit use with small pipes and thin wires. The liner 7 is placed between the wires 3 of the clip and the pipe 4 and prevents the wires cutting the pipe when tightened. To avoid loose ends, the liner overlaps as shown in Fig. 2 and lugs 8 are provided at one end to be bent over the wires.
