Clips, band.-A hose pipe 1 is secured to a connector by means of a split spring clip, preferably formed of sheet metal, the inner surface of which is provided with outwardly extending arcuate portions 8, 9 and an intermediate straight-tapered or flat portion 10, and the external surface of the clip being of similar form to the internal surface. The ends of the clip are bent so as to provide a space for the insertion of spacing or pressuredistribution blocks 14, 15, while a metal guardpiece 17, of corresponding external and internal form to that of the clip, which can be rivetted, spot-welded, or otherwise secured to the clip, is preferably provided. The clip is completed by a bolt 20.
