[Class 44] A band clip adjustable to different sizes of pipe comprises a flexible band a which may make one or more complete turns round the pipe f, one end a<1> being anchored to a slotted member b by bending the end under the main portion of the band, the other end being slidable through a slot d<1> in a socket member d co-operating with the clamping screw c which is carried by the threaded upturned end b<2> of member b. The end c<1> of the screw serves to clamp the band in slot d' after initial adjustment, further operation of the screw in thrust serving to tighten the clip. The end of the screw may be pointed so as to indent the band, or may be rounded and bear against a movable clamping plate mounted in the slot d'.
