Abstract

304,082. Guy, W. L. April 24, 1928. Cam-and-lever actuated pumps; diaphragm pumps; regulating two pumps in combination.- A pump for delivering a variable quantity of fuel &c. comprises a chamber 10 in which are mounted two diaphragms or plungers 3 reciprocated by tappets 12 and levers 17 operated by separate cams or eccentrics 23, 24. The phase relation of the diaphragm strokes may be changed by adjusting one of the cams relatively to the other so that delivery may vary between zero and a maximum.
