Abstract

302,804. Thomas, R. J. Dec. 20, 1927. Checking shuttles and pickers.-The buffer strap E or check strap F, or both, are connected to a rod N movable in a bracket K and carrying a plate M which is slidable on rods L between brackets K and is acted upon by a spring P or other resilient means. The check strap may be guided in guides T and the usual resilient washers G on the picker spindle and length-adjusting means J, H are provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the brackets K may be provided on a flat base-plate.
