Abstract

214,825. Hirst, H. R. April 20, 1923. Mattresses.-In a tension adjusting device for spring mattresses, the usual screw P, operated from the outside face of the fixed rail N, is loosely housed in the fixed rail and engages the threaded boss C of a bracket A secured to the front of the movable rail B. The bracket A is secured to the rail B either by integral and detachable gripping arms E, F or by two detachable bolts as shown in Fig. 6.
