Abstract

403,027. Safety harness for windowcleaners. BRACE, G. F., 4, Stoneview Place, Kingstown, Dublin. June 15, 1933, No. 17061. [Class 141.] A U-shaped bracket 1, Fig. 1, is secured to a window frame by means of set screws 3 screwed under the frame. A suspension bolt 4, to which the safety harness 15 is connected, is slidably fitted in the bracket 1, a spring 5 tending to move the bolt away from the harness. The bracket may be in two parts adjustably connected together by means of bolts 10, Fig. 4, which pass through elongated slots in one part and screw into tapped holes in the other part.
