Abstract

Master control systems; reversing.-Electromagnetically operated contactors 11, 15 for reversing a motor 7 are connected to a master controller 18 through contacts of a single relay 1, which is energized by the voltage across the motor armature terminals, in order to prevent reversal while this voltage is above a predetermined value. When the reversing contactors have been closed, the magnets are connected in maintaining circuits independent of the relay.
