Abstract
212,842. Monard, A. Sept. 27, 1923. Addition to 180,992. Electric operation. - The. stem 44 of the armature 48, carrying the contacts 45, 46 of the parent Specification, is operated by the second of two pivoted tappets 75, 77, carried by a cam 74 and engaging shoulders 80, 81 on the cam. The coil 50 is thus energized by the working current and retains the armature without requiring an initial holding-on circuit. Should the points be trailedthrough so as to reverse the points-commutator, reversal of the operating-handle will not complete the motor circuit.
