Abstract

296,588. Thomson, W. Oct. 28, 1927. Vices.-A chain pipe vice screwed to a bench 5 grips a bar 19 by turning handle 18 to move hooked lever 12 thereby tightening the chain 9. The internally screwed sleeve 16 is provided with several stops 17 and a handle 20 so that it can be turned round and slipped further down into the bench hole.
