292,450. Bidal, P. Aug. 22, 1927, [Con. vention date]. Rigid--jaw wrenches; handles.-A box spanner A is given an extra long leverage by having its handle B secured to a hexagon &c. tube C which can be slid out over a hexagon cranked bar b secured to the spanner. A spring pressed sloping ended bolt limits the outward travel of the tube C. The handle B is held by a ball f, on the tube C, and can be set at any angle to the tube by sliding it back to a round piece e on the tube whence it can be set at amy angle and slid out again on the hexagon to fix it. Multiple wrenches. - In a modification two different rigid spanners as above may be connected to a common double ended handle and when not in use they may be inturned towards each other to economize space.
