Abstract
295,655. Sauveur, H. Aug. 16, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Actuating by liquid pressure. - Pumping-apparatus for oil wells &c. comprises an immersed high-pressure gear &c. pump 3 driven by an immersed motor] and supplying pressure liquid to the motor 13 of a slowmoving pump 12 which pumps the crude oil. The liquid pumped by the pump 3 is clean and moves in a closed circuit comprising an inlet pipe 4, delivery pipe 9, and cooling coil 5. If the crude oil is used in the pump 3, it is purified by passing through a filter 8 before entering the pipe 4. The pump 12 is enclosed in a casing 7 through which the oil passes to the pump. It is warmed by the hot liquid passing through the coil 5 from the pump 3.
