Abstract
294,149. Chedru, G. E. July 18, 1927, [Convention date]. Cylinders, combustion chambers of, arrangement of igniters in and baffles for guiding charge. - In a twostroke-cycle engine, one side of the baffle on the piston face, and the cylinder head, are so formed that the combustion chamber c is substantially hemispherical, and the other side l of the baffle closely approaches the cylinder head. The sparking plug is located at d, and the edge of the cylinder head is slightly out of line with the cylinder bore, as shown, a ridge k being provided adjacent the face j.
