Abstract

294,084. Walker, D. D. Feb. 2, 1928. Signs.-A daylight reflector sign in which light is reflected from a mirror b on to a stencil h has the following features :-(1) Small flags o, Fig. 2, are mounted on standards fixed to the front of the sign so that the fluttering of the flags causes interruptions in the light incident the sign and produces a flickering effect. (2) Instead of the flags small vanes s, Fig. 5, are rotatably mounted behind the front or fascia p, holes r being provided through which air passes to impinge on and rotate the vanes. (3) The stencil h is supported in a front frame g of the casing a. and is secured by a spring clip c and a removable clip d, similar clips also securing the mirror b and end mirrors f. A glass cover j, which may be coloured, slides in grooves or rebates i in the casing, and is secured by a clip (not shown.).
