Gas cooking-stoves; doors; perforated-tube burners.-A gas oven A is interposed between upper chambers B, B<1> and a lower plate-heating chamber E, the chamber B containing burners for heating utensils on the hot-plate C, and the chamber B<1> containing a grilling-burner; the oven is heated by a burner a<6> in a flue below it, the gases passing up side flues a<1> to a top flue a<2> containing baffles and thence to the outlet a<4> . The gases from the burners in the chambers B, B<1> pass to an outlet B<2>. The front of the chamber B may be in the form of a door to allow plates &c. to be inserted below the burners. The dropdown oven door A is provided with friction devices for retaining it in any desired position comprising slotted links a<10> through which pass bolts a<11> provided with adjustable springs a<12>. The oven burner shown in Fig. 5 is formed with widelyspaced nozzles a' and a row of closely-spaced pilot-jet holes a<8>; that shown in Fig. 6 is formed with closely-perforated branch pipes a<9>. In either form a light applied to one end causes ignition of all the jets.
