Abstract

293,290. Richter, J. July 2, 1927, [Convention date]. Catamenial appliances. - A catamenial bandage comprises an absorbent pad 2 which is covered on one side by a sheet of gauze 1 the ends of which are turned over the edges of the pad 2, the whole being then folded about the centre line with the absorbent material inside. The bandage is closed at the ends by an easily opened seam, the threads of which may serve as loops for attaching to a belt. The pad is preferably of cellulose wadding. The bandage is readily disintegrated by means of flushing water.
