Abstract

Catamenial appliances. -A sanitary towel comprises a gauze or like cover B containing a cellulose pad D; the ends of the cover are folded over to form loops A by means of which the bandage may be secured to a belt. The loops are secured by stitching with a large machine stitch using coloured and white threads C, C<2> respectively, the former of which is left with a loose end C' whereby it may be easily withdrawn for disintegration of the bandage after use.
