Abstract

Relates to a sanitary towel of the kind in which soluble cellulose wadding is wrapped in gauze, and the gauze is sewn by a thread which can be readily withdrawn to separate the wadding from the gauze. According to the present invention, an easily removable tacking thread is sewn into the gauze and through the wadding in order to keep the wadding in position.
