Abstract

289,703. Witter, A. H. Sept. 27, 1927. Rigid-jaw wrenches; handles. -The jaws of a wrench are provided with a number of 90‹ or 120‹ notches 8 for square or hexagonal nuts respectively to give them a series of small turns when in a confined space. The handle is set at an angle to the head, the angle being calculated by dividing 360‹ by four times the number of notches in the complete circle of a closed spanner.
