[Class 61 (iii)] A stud wrench comprises a number of cam gripping jaws e in the form of sectors of a cylinder mounted on pivot pins c on centres spaced inwardly from the true centres of the sectors in a hexagonal cage formed of rings a, b held in spaced relation by sleeves d, the cam jaws e having projecting pins h engaged by slots k in a boss l on a rotatable disc n for moving them into engagement with the stud m to be rotated. The cage may have projecting handles or may be rotated by a box spanner p. The faces of the jaws may be serrated or knurled or provided with part screw-threads if required to engage a threaded part of a stud.
