Abstract

283,826. Stafford, C. Oct., 7, 1927. Stops.-In a door stop of the kind comprising a cylinder, a piston within the cylinder and a projecting piston rod for receiving the impact of the door, a spring being located behind the piston within the cylinder, the valve for regulating the escape of air to and from the cylinder is made in the form of an adjustable pin valve 12, 13. The buffer 8 is mounted on the end of the piston rod 7, and the inward movement of the piston 9 compresses the spring 10. The cylinder 1 is secured in position by a bracket 2.
