275,786. Nissen, J. H. Aug. 4, 1926. Door-hohlers; stops. - A device to serve as a buffer stop or holder for a door or window comprises a casing 1 into the open end of which is adjustably screwed a sleeve 2 with attachment flanges 4, a buffer piston 6 being retained within the sleeve by a head 7 on opposite sides of which are positioned the springs 8, 9. When the door or the hinged window is opened or closed the piston engages an inclined recess 10<a> in a fixed plate 10, and the door or window is checked and slamming avoided.
