[Class 65 (i)] Means for holding a vehicle door 1 open comprises a rod 4 pivoted to the pillar 3 and sliding through a rubber &c. guide 11 inside the door. The end of the rod is bent at 4a to engage a spring clip 5 when the door is fully open. Alternatively, the rod may be pivoted to the door and slide in a recess in the pillar.
