503,584. Stays for hinged articles. AUBREY, G. A., and MOON, G. R. July 11, 1938, No. 20542. [Class 65 (i)] A friction stay for hinged doors &c., comprises a resilient corrugated strip 1 pivoted to one leaf 7 of a hinge &c. and passing with friction through a slot 8, 9 in the other leaf. The slot may be adjustable in width to vary the friction, and the end of the strip may carry a spring stop 13 to prevent complete withdrawal from the slot.
