Thread-guides.-A revolving thread-guide particularly for use in winding yarns has a vitreous running surface 6, Fig. 2, for the thread and light metal side plates 7 for guiding the thread thereon. The surface 6 is formed of porcelain and the guide is mounted on a bronze bush 1 having an enlarged central barrel 5 and revolves on the end 2 of the compensator arm 3 of an unwinding- device 4. Fig. 1.
